Here is a letter from the Superintendent updating parents on our District in Need of Improvement (DINI) status, and what the district is doing to improve student achievement.

DINI News - May 2009

The past two months, the four DINI teams (Assessment, Curriculum, Culture/Climate, and Professional Development) have reconvened to review past accomplishments, discuss the goals of the updated DINI plan, and begin identifying ways to further implement the DINI plan.

These meetings were productive, informative and created renewed interest in the DINI plan. A core group of individuals from the each of the original teams was formed, and these core groups are beginning to assess new and effective ways to best address the needs of the district by helping to implement the DINI plan.

As new meetings and discussions take place, we will update you on these activities.
